Proceeds will be used to support Pediatric Services at Regina’s three hospitals, through Hospitals of Regina Foundation.  Every year, Regina’s hospitals see more than 2,000 in-patient pediatric cases, from viral infections and broken bones to acute sickness and chronic diseases. Another 5,000 children come through out-patient clinics, and Wascana Rehabilitation Centre sees more than 18,000 pediatric visits.

The beds purchased for the pediatrics unit from the 2017 Champagne Classic were a tremendous help and replaced the worst of the beds, ensuring the safety of the nurses who have to adjust them and the comfort of the children who spend time in them.
